Afin d'accueillir "comme il se doit" les jeux du commonwealth 2010, le gouvernement indien a pris des mesures visant a la requalification certaines de zones urbaines.
Cela signifie parfois : envoyer une jeune emissaire en tailleur et talons aiguilles, venir informer, cadastre de l'an 12 en main, que les habitants de telle ou telle rue ont 3 mois pour demolir leur maisons, leurs echoppes, leurs restaurants et facades d'hotels afin d'elargir la chaussee de 2m de part et d'autre.
